Good morning everyone,
Respected Principal, Teachers, and all My dear friend. Today I “your name” is going to deliver a speech on Republic Day.
As we all know today all of us have gathered here to celebrate the 73rd Republic day of India. Every Indian remembers this day because the constitution came into force. The constitution of India was adopted on 26th November 1949, but it came into force on 26th January 1950. The constitution was made by the members of the drafting committee, Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar was the one who was heading the drafting committee. He is also known as the father of the constitution. Everyone remembers this day as the sacrifice of the freedom fighter that they have done for this country. It is because of them that we can live our life peacefully. We all are very fortunate to be a citizen of India, a country rich in culture and who have such a great freedom fighter. So let’s take a pledge together that we will always be responsible citizens and will make our country proud. By ending this speech I want to say that I am proud to be an Indian, I love my country. Republic day is one of the most important days for every citizen of India. Every place in India is decorated with flags and tri-colours (Saffron, White and Green). All the students who are going to deliver the speech on republic day must know these points as mentioned below.

26th January 2023 Republic Day Speech For Kids (Long)
This is a long speech for all the students who are willing to deliver a detailed speech about Republic day and its history.
The constitution came into the act after India became Independent before there was no constitution for India but after that, the committee was created the constitution came into force. A new drafting committee was created that is in charge of making the constitution of India. The one who was leading this committee was Dr B.R Ambedkar. It takes a long time to implement the constitution for India, after 1947 the committee try hard to implement this constitution. The constitution was accepted after two years of debate. The first session of the debate was held on the 9th of December 1946. Many sessions were held after that but the constitution was not accepted in any of the sessions.
In 1950 the session was held and the draft was passed and from that day only the constitution came into force, It was a day to remember in Indian History. Through this constitution, India gets their fundamental rights. India is very blessed to have such freedom fighters who fought for their country, today in every corner of this country people are enjoying their fundamental rights. Previously there were 389 members in the drafting committee but after the partition happened the total number of members in the drafting committees left was only 299 members.
After the constitution was adopted India has become a democratic country, the constitution of India consists of 395 articles and they are divided into 22 parts and have 8 schedules in it. After the country has become fully independent, the people of India are appreciating their fundamental rights. Through this implementation of the constitution, the committee has declared this day as purna swaraj. India is now a very self-dependent country and everyone is enjoying the rights that are implemented for everyone. Thank you
