HSSE ADMIT CARD 2020 IIT Madras Download HSSE Hall Ticket – Updated

HSSE Admit Card 2020: The Department of Humanities and Social Science which is the oldest department of the IIT, Madras comprises experienced faculty who will organize an entrance test on April 19, 2020, for 52 seats. The aspirant can download the HSSE 2020 admit card through the official website of IIT, Madras i.e. www.hsee.iitn.ac.in in April 2020. Candidates are advised to take the admit card to the examination center on examination date. The aspirant can pay the fees for the application form through online modes such as Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and challan generated from Indian Bank.

Update (6th April 2020) – Due to COVID-19, the HSSE Examination has been extended until further notice. Once we got any update related to the HSSE examination, then we will let you know.

Update as on 26th March 2020 – Aspirants are requested to check the updates related to the HSSE Hall Ticket and can download the HSSE Admit Card 2020 from the official website of IITM Madras from 3rd April 2020.

Important Note On HSSE ADMIT CARD

HSSE 2020 Admit Card: After finishing the application procedure and fees payment, the candidate can have access to download their examination hall ticket through the official website of IIT, Madras https://hsee.iitm.ac.in from March 18, 2020, to April 19, 2020 (9 am).

  • The admit card will contain the name of the candidate, center name, caste, Photo, address, and date of birth.
  • In case of any discrepancy found in the admit card then the candidate needs to inform the chairman immediately by Fax / Email / Phone prior to the examination date.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall on the examination date without admit card.
  • If there is any discrepancy found by the invigilator at the time of verification then he/she has full to disqualify the candidate for the examination.

Examination Pattern For HSSE-2020

The pattern for HSSE 2020 Examination for Humanities and Social Science Department. Aspirant can take an idea from the examination pattern which has been released by IIT, Madras on their official website in order to prepare for the examination which is going to be held on April 19, 2020.

  • The total duration for the HSSE examination of 2020 will be a maximum of 3 hours.
  • The examination consists of two parts.
  • The type of questions for part-1 will be objective.
  • The duration of the part-1 examination will be 150 minutes out of a total of 180 minutes.
  • In part-2 candidate has to write an essay within 30 minutes.

Part-1

The part-1 covers the below – mentioned topics:

  • English and comprehension skills
  • Analytical and Quantitative Ability
  • General Studies
  • Environment and Ecology

Part-2

The aspirants need to write an essay on the topic which will be given in the examination.

NOTE – Use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, pager, headphone, tablet, etc is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.

HSSE ADMIT CARD: Reservation Criteria

The reservation system will be followed in HSSE 2020 under the guidelines of the Central Government. Aspirant belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, PWD, GEN-EWS, and OBC-NCL category will be eligible for the reservation while allocating the seats.

General belonging to the weaker section of the society Reservation of seats will be 6% from the overall seats
Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) Belonging to the non-creamy layer 27% reservation
Scheduled Caste 15%
Scheduled Tribes 7.5%
Person With Disability   5% seats reserved in every category

Important Point To Remember In Admission Process

  1. The candidate must be born on or after October 01, 1995, to get eligible for the HSSE 2020.
  2. There has been relaxation which been given to the reserved category students like Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Class and a Person With Disability (PWD) under the guidelines of the Central Government by 5 years.
  3. The Candidate has to show the original age proof certificate at the time of admission.
  4. Only a Student who provides a valid physical fitness certificate from a certified doctor will allow taking admission.
  5. The Institute has a full right to disqualify admission in the case of any discrepancy found in the documents.

Result Of HSSE Examination 2020

After the process for checking answer sheets by the examination authority then the next is to declare the result of the examination. The result will be published online on the official website of IIT, Madras i.e. www.hsee.iitm.ac.in on May 15, 2020.

  • The result will contain candidate information like their roll number, total marks obtained in Part-1 and Part-2 segment.
  • The Candidate cannot raise the dispute in the evaluation process of the answer sheets.
