IBPS SO Cut-Off Marks, Merit List
As per the official notification, candidates have to pass each of the tests by securing the minimum qualifying marks decided by the IBPS authorities. The question paper contained ‘150 questions’ with the maximum marks of ‘125 marks’. The table of the tentative cut-off marks is available below:

The factors depending upon which the tentative cut-off marks will be prepared are as follows: total no of applicants who appeared in the exam, marks scored by them, tie-breaking criteria and the seats reserved for other candidates.
Along with the cut-off marks, the authority will also post the IBPS SO Merit List that will carry the names of those candidates who were able to score the cut-off marks announced by the authority. Those candidates will be given permission to appear in the IBPS SO Mains exam 2021.
IBPS SO Result Tie Breaking Rule
While forming the IBPS SO merit list, if two or more aspirants scored the same marks then in such cases, the order of merit is decided considering the candidate’s age. The candidate who’s older in age as compared to another one then he will be given the top rank in the merit list.

- On the left side of the page, the option of ‘CRP Specialist Officers’ will be available.
- Tap on it and the CRP SO page will get open.
- Click on ‘CRP Specialist Officer’ result option.
- Now you’ll directly land on the CRP Specialist Officer result login page.
- On the right side of the page, the login credentials box will be available.
- Inside that box, submit your Registration ID, Password and the Captcha Code appearing on the screen.
- Once you are done by submitting the details, tick on ‘Login’ button.

IBPS SO Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidate who’ll clear the Prelims will receive a call letter (Admit Card) from IBPS which will help them to appear in the ‘Mains Exams’ which will be of ’60 marks’. After the declaration of the mains exam result, the shortlisted candidates who cleared the main will be invited for the ‘Interview’ round where their knowledge about finance and general awareness will be tested by the panel.
The interview round will be of 100 marks inside which the cut-off marks for General/OBC candidates will be 40% & 20% for SC/ST/PWD candidates. On the day of the Interview, the shortlisted candidates have to carry some documents like:
- Printout of Interview Call Letter & Application Form.
- Marksheets or Certificates of all the educational qualifications attained.
- Government ID’s (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card etc).
- Recent colored passport size photograph.
- Category, Transfer, Birth & Domicile Certificate.
After clearing the Interview round, the shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted to the participating banks depending upon the rank the candidate scored in the merit list. The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for participating banks and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted bank. At any stage of the recruitment process, it comes out that the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria then their selection will be cancelled at that moment only.
