NEET Qualifying Cut Off Marks

NEET Merit List for All India Quota (AIQ)

The Merit List for the candidates who applied for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) will be prepared by NTA on the basis of marks scored by the applicants in the NEET exam. The final list will be sent to the Directorate General Of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Ayush Ministry with the aim of allotment of seats for the counselling session. Once the Final Merit List is checked by all the Ministries then NTA will release the results state wise and category wise and will invite the shortlisted candidates for the Counselling Session.

NEET Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more than two candidates sores equal marks in the NEET exam then the tie will be broken by the following methods:

• Applicant who will score highest marks/percentage in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test,
• If tie still continues, then the marks/percentage scored by candidate in Chemistry,
• In the end, the total of correct answers given by candidates in all the subjects will be calculated.
