While verifying the answer key, if any candidate feels that there has been a mistake in the question/answer then they preserve the right to object to it.
To apply for objection, candidates have to fill out and submit the objection form along with legitimate evidence and an objection fee of Rs.500 per question in the form of a Demand Draft to the ‘Controller of Examinations, Jammu And Kashmir Public Service Commission’ within three days from the date of publication.

Jammu & Kashmir CCE 2022 Marking Strategy
There will be four options for each question out of which one will be correct. For every incorrect answer answered by the candidate 1/3rd mark (0.33) marks will be reduced as a penalty. If any candidate gives more than one answer then the above-mentioned penalty will be assigned to that question.
No mark will be assigned for the questions left blank or for review by the candidates in the OMR sheet. Candidates have to obtain the qualifying marks in General Studies-I as decided by the commission and at least 33% in Gen Studies-II to clear the preliminary examination.
