JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2022: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the recruitment notification for the 583 Excise Constable posts in the State. The application process has started from 25th Feb 2022 till 26th March 2022 2 April 2022 on the JSSC’s official website (jssc.nic.in). 1. Educational Qualifications:
   • The applicant who is applying for the post must have passed class 10th from a well-recognised Board/Council in the State of Jharkhand.
   • He/She should have knowledge about local customs, languages and environment.
2. Age-Limit:
   • The candidates age should be between 18-25 years old as on 01st Aug 2022.
   • However, applicants of reseved categories will get some relaxation in upper age limit whose details are given as: –
     • EWS: 25 years
     • EBC: 27 years
     • BC: 27 years
     • Women (all categories): 28 years
     • SC/ST (male/females): 30 years
     • Ex-servicemen applicants will received a relaxaiton of 5 years.

Note: In order to get relaxation, applicants must produce the required certificate that has been issued from the competent authority.

Guidelines for filling Online Form

• Before filling the online form, candidate must read the official brochure carefully and enter the information inside the online form as per the official brochure.
• During the submission of details, candidates should keep the scanned copy of photograph & signature along with them.
• Applicants are advised to write the same name and date of birth which is mentioned in their class 10th marksheet and certificate.

Procedure to fill the JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment Form

Registration Process:

• Appear on JSSSC’s official website (jssc.nic.in).
• On the left side of the page under the column of ‘Important Links’ select the ‘Application Forms (Apply)’ option.
• The application forms page will get open.
• Click on ‘Apply Now’ given on the right side of the JSSSC Excise Constable Online Form 2022.
• You’ll land on the JSSSC Excise Constable recruitment page.
• On the right side of the page, the option of ‘New Registration’ will be given.
• Click on that option and the registration form will appear.
• Enter the details asked on the form and then submit it.
• You’ll get Login credentials on your registered mobile number and email address.
• Note down those credentials on a notepad and keep it safe as it’s going to play very important role in next stages.

Login Process:

• After getting registered, click on ‘Login’ box recruitment page.
• The Login page will get open.
• Submit your Application No, Password and Captcha Code.
• On a refreshed page, your application form will be presented.
• While going through the application form, you’ll notice that some of the sections are already filled.
• Fill up rest of the sections which are left blank like: Educational Qualifications such as: Board/Council Name, School Name, Year of Passing, Marks/Percentage scored in Class 10th & 12th & Upload Photograph & Signature image in the jpeg format.
• After submitting the details and uploading the documents, take a look at the application form.
• Now tap on ‘Submit To Proceed Payment’ option and tick on Terms & Conditions box.
• The fee payment page will get open, select the payment category, enter your registration number and pay the fee as per the amount announced by the commission.
• After the payment of fee, take out the hard copy of the application form and the fee receipt for future references.

The Commission will activate the rectification window for 02 days during the given period applicants can make changes in their application form if they found any discrepancy in it. However, details like Name, DOB, Email ID shouldn’t get changed.

JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment Procedure

The recruitment procedure has been divided into 04 stages: Stage 01 includes the ‘Physical Endurance Test’ under which the Medical & Physical Tolerance of the candidates will be tested. Those who’ll qualify the 01st Stage will be called for 02nd Stage which is the ‘Written Test’. The 03rd stage will include th ‘Physical Efficiency Test’ in which the speed of the candidates will be recorded. Applicants who get successful in clearing all the above 03 stages will be called for the last round i.e., ‘Medical Test’ which will be conducted by Chief Medical Officer.

After the successful conduction of all the four stages, the commission will release the final list on their official website which will be containing the names of shortlisted candidates who’ll be appointed as Excise Constable.
