My Ration My Right Online Apply
Under the Public Distribution System in India, food grains are distributed to the poor citizens of the state. The state government issued the tricolour ration cards in the state in 1999. The main aim of the distribution of these cards is to help the poor sections of society get food grains at a subsidized rate.
The state government distributes tricolour ration cards in the state. With the increasing number of cases in the state, the government is set to issue temporary ration cards to the migrants of the state. The state government is also aiming to develop an application for the migrants and poot of the state that would provide the citizens with a token. This token will then be utilised to distribute ration to all such people in the state.
With the token, any resident within the state will be able to get the ration easily from all the fair price shops. But until the app comes out the state government is focussing on issuing temporary ration cards to all such families hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Maharashtra Temporary Ration Card 2022- MY RATION MY RIGHT
The food and civil supply department of the state is offering food grains to the citizens under the One Nation One Ration Card policy. All the families living within the Mumbai region can procure food grains from the fair price shops in the state. To support the migrants and poor in the state, the state government has proposed the scheme of Majha Ration Majha Adhikar (My Ration My Right).
As per the government, about 90% of the beneficiaries have already been included in the Public distribution system. Therefore, to include the rest 10% of the beneficiaries the government is including Voluntary organisations in this process. This will help the government to reach all the proposed beneficiaries under the scheme. It will cover all the beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Yojana, NFSA as well as Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana schemes.
The state government is providing the beneficiaries under the NFSA with a free ration this year for April and May. The government will provide:
- Wheat- 3 Kg/ member
- Rice- 2 Kg/ member
Also, antyodaya beneficiaries in the state will get 35 kg of food grains free of cost on each ration card.

Eligibility for all types of Maharashtra Temp Ration Card
The state government is issuing various types of ration cards in the state. There are set criteria to who can be the possible beneficiary under each type of card. So, we are enlisting the eligibility criteria for all types of ration cards. Citizens of the state can check the eligibility and apply accordingly.
A) Yellow Ration Card
- These cards are issued to families with an annual income lower than Rs. 15,000.
- Any member of the applicant’s family must not be a CA, lawyer, doctor or architect.
- Ant member of the family must not be a sales taxpayer or eligible to pay any such taxes.
- The family of the applicant must not be holding any residential telephone.
- Family of the Applicants of this card must not possess any four-wheeler mechanical vehicle.
- Any member of the family must not possess any Jirayat Land (2 ha), Seasonal Irrigated Land (1 ha) or double irrigated land of dry areas (1/2 ha).
B-1) Saffron Ration Card
- This ration card will be issued to families having an annual income of more than Rs. 15,000 and lower than Rs. 1 Lakh.
- Family of the Applicants of this card must not possess any four-wheeler mechanical vehicle other than a taxi.
- The family must not possess an irrigated land of 4 ha or more.
B-2) Priority Household (PHH) Cards
- These ration cards are distributed to the citizens whose annual income is not more than Rs. 60,000 and is residing in the urban area.
- For the residents of the rural areas, the income limit criteria are Rs. 44,000 annually.
C) White Ration Card
The ration card will be issued to families with an annual income of Rs. 1 Lakh or more than Rs. 1 Lakh.

To get a ration card, applicants will need the documents enlisted below.
- Aadhar Card
- Voter ID/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport copy
- Proof of Residence

Application Procedure for Maharashtra New Ration Card 2022
The application procedure for the ration card has not been digitized in the state yet. Therefore, the application for issuing the ration card is still offline. We are detailing all the steps to download the application form. Citizens can also download the form directly from the link we will provide in the sections below, To apply for a new ration card, applicants can follow the steps enlisted below.
Step 1: Go to the official website portal of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, Maharashtra.
Step 2: On the home page of the portal, applicants will see an option of ‘Download‘ available on the menu bar. Click on that option.
Step 3: Clicking on the option, the applicants will be directed to another page. On this page, applicants will have to click on Form 1: Application for New Ration Card. The application form will be open on the device screen of the users.
Step 4: Applicants can simply download this application form and secure a printout of the same. Fill in the application manually and submit it to the concerned department.
