One of the major benefits of the Maharashtra RTE Admission scheme for the academic session of 2022-2023 is that it will give the students of backwards classes who are potential to showcase their talent but the school expenses didn’t let them continue their studies.

How to fill the Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 Application Form?

Registration Process:

  1. Select the official link of School Education & Support Department, Government of Maharashtra website (student.maharashtra.gov.in) and open it in a new tab.
  2. After landing on the main page, tap on ‘RTE 25% Portal’ available on left side of the page then click on ‘Online Application’ given on right side of the new page.
  3. Press the ‘New Registration’ link given under the section of ‘New Registration’.
  4. On the registration section, stuff the blank boxes with the details asked then tap on ‘Register’ button.
  5. A username & password will be sent on your registered mobile number. You are instructed to keep it safe for future stages.
  6. On the left side of the same page, the section of ‘Existing User Login’ will be given.
  7. Enter that username, password, captcha value displaying on the screen and at last pick the option of ‘Login’.
  8. A blank application form will be given in front of your screen.
  9. To apply for the scheme, you’ve to fill the application form by submitting the details sequence-wise like:
    • Under the ‘Child’ section, note down child name, parents name, date of birth, district, current address then tick on ‘Save’ button and select the option of ‘Save/Edit Google address’.
    • Enter your address and it will directly get added in the application form.
    • After completing the child section, go to ‘Application’ section, you’ve to note down the pointers like for which class you want the admission, school medium, religion, category, mobile number, documents possess for admission. Then tick on ‘Save’ button.
    • Under the section of ‘School Selection’ enter the school name for which you want to apply, board name and ditance details at last tap on ‘Save’ box and the pop-up message of school successfully selected will appear on your screen.
    • On the ‘Summary’ section, your properly filled application form will be visible, go through it properly and then click on ‘Decalaration Box’.
    • In case, you find any typing error in the details filled then quickly edit it and then then press on the ‘Confirm & Submit’ button.
    • Once you pressed the ‘Confirm & Submit’ button, you will not be able to edit your application form.
    • Click on ‘Generate pdf’ and a web page will be showing the pdf file of your fully filled application form.
    • Select the option ‘Download’ if provided on the page.
    • After downloading the pdf file, keep it safe or you can also take out its hardcopy for future evidences/references.
  10. If the candidate is selected by the lottery, then they just have to click on the ‘Admit Card’ option to downlaod the admit card through the login.

Steps to change password

In case, you forgot your RTE Admission user id password then read the following steps:

  • At the end of the User Login 2022-2023 column, the option of ‘Recover Password’ will be given.
  • Select it and a small pop-up window will appear.
  • Enter your application number, date of birth, captcha code & then press the ‘Submit’ box.
  • The change password window will appear.
  • Enter your Application Id, old password, new password, re-type new password & then pick the ‘Submit’ button.
  • The notification of password successfully changes will come on your mobile number and email address.

The ‘Lottery Logic’ will be opted only by those private schools who received more application forms than the total intake as per the 25% reservation policy. The eligible candidates will be considered for all the schools selected by them. For the school allotment, the first priority will be given to those students whose residence is within the range of 1 km from the school and then to those candidates whose residence is 2-3 km away from the school chosen by them. Soon after the submission of all the application forms, the authorities of the School Education & Support Department, Government of Maharashtra will post the ‘Shortlisted, Not Selected & Waiting’ list on their official portal.
