Based on the marks secured by the applicant in the MHT CET entrance exam, the State CET Cell will prepare the merit list. Anyhow, if more than two candidates secure the same marks in the exam then to allott to the deserving candidate, the following methods will be used to dissolve the tie:
| The applicant with the highest marks in Mathematics followed by Physics & Chemistry in CET 2022 will be given a higher rank. |
| If the tie continues then the total of PCM in Class 12th will be taken into consideration. |
| At last, the candidate with the highest marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in class 10th will be taken into account. |
