NEET Admit Card 2020 UG

The NEET aspirants can download the admit card from the NTA website. The admit card will be available for download from 27-03-2020. The admit card for NEET Entrance Exam will only be available on the official site of NTA at If anyhow candidates are not able to download their admit card, they can contact helpline no at 0120-6895200 or can mail at from 27 March 2020 to 10 April 2020.

NEET Admit Card Download without internet Access

It is to inform the candidates that those who are not accessible to internet services can download their hall tickets admit card through the Common Service Centre (CSC). These CSC centers are established in every rural area including the areas where mobile internet services are not accessible.

The charges levied by the CSC center for the following process are as follows:

Candidates are advised to go through the admit card thoroughly after downloading it and match the details which they have mentioned at the time of filling their application form. If the photograph and sign are missing or are not visible clearly, then inform the concerned authority as soon as possible.

Instructions related to the NEET Admit card 2020

  • Admit card for NEET Exam 2020 will be downloaded through online mode only and will not be sent by postal orders.
  • No separate or duplicate Admit Card for NEET Exam 2020 will be issued by the NTA authorities in any case.
  • Candidates are instructed not to distort the admit card or pen down any additional mark on it as it can be marked as invalid on the day of the exam.
  • Candidates are further instructed to keep the admit card safe after the exam as it may be required in the counseling or admission process.
  • Those candidates who have filled the incomplete or incorrect information on their application form or they photograph, and signature do not match the prescribed format, their admit card will not be generated.
  • Carrying of admit cards only to the exam venue does not ensure the candidate’s entry to the Exam hall. Before that, the candidate must go through checking and other processes.

Exam Format for NEET 2020

The exam will consist of a total of 180 questions in which questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be asked. The exam will be of a maximum of 720 marks. The exam pattern asked will be multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based on which the correct option has to be encircled in the OMR sheet provided. Each question in the paper will be for 4 marks and a negative marking of 1 mark will be there.

NEET 2020 Exam Code of Conduct

Restriction on items not to be brought in the exam-

  • Candidates are instructed not to bring any pen, paper, pencil, box, pouch, eraser, scale or any other stationery item to the exam center.
  • Carrying mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or any other electronic gadget will not be accepted by the exam authority.
  • Candidates should not carry wallet, belts, cap, and goggles in the exam hall.
  • Candidate must remove any wearable item on the wrist such as band, watch, bracelet, etc.
  • Candidates should not wear any kind of ornaments specifically those of metals.
  • Packaged water bottles or any food items are not permissible.

Dress code at NEET Exam 2020

Key points for the dress code to be followed at the exam center-

  • Shirt/T-shirt/kurta with long sleeves are not permitted. Dress with only half sleeves is permitted.
  • Shoes are high heel sandals not allowed for any candidates in the exam. However, candidates can wear slippers and sandals in the exam.
  • If any candidate is coming in a traditional dress, then he is advised to report an hour early from the given reporting time to the exam venue.

Candidates are instructed to adhere to the dress code rules carefully. Any kind of emergency will not be entertained by the exam authority at the last moment.

Instructions to candidate to be followed for NEET 2020

  • The entry to the exam center will be made open two hours before the start of the exam and will not be allowed to enter the exam center after 1.30 pm.
  • Candidates have to maintain the decorum and discipline in the exam hall.
  • Candidates are advised not to indulge in any kind of unfair means practice as upon being caught they would be exempted from the exam.
  • The candidates are requested to cooperate during the checking process. candidate should carry the admit card, one passport size photograph, one postcard size (6’’ x 4’’) photograph, one picture identity proof, and PwD certificate for concerned candidates.
  • The candidate should carry one postcard size (6’’ x 4’’) photograph to fixed at Performa downloaded with admit card.
  • The candidate should find his allotted seat and is instructed not to be seated anywhere else.

Post Examination Activities

NEET 2020 Answer Key

After the exam of NEET 2020, the NTA will release the answer key which will be provisional in nature. The Candidate can view the answer sheet which will be published on the official site of NTA so the candidates can predict their score in the exam and also challenge the questions which he/she may find objectionable. Only after that final answer key will be released.

Candidate’s Answer Sheet response

The candidate’s response sheet will be uploaded on the official site of NTA at the scanned images of the OMR sheet will be displayed to the candidate in the portal. The candidates can also challenge the questions asked in the exam but for this, they have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 per question challenged.
