After that on 7th June 2021, the AIADMK, one of the parties of Tamil Nadu, has urged the central government to put off the NEET 2021. It has been done by the O Panneerselvam, head of AIADMK. The leader of AIADMK had written to PMO giving details of all the problems faced by the students of Tamil Nadu during this pandemic situation in giving NEET 2021 entrance examination.
One more obstacle in the conduction of the examination is the cancellation of class 12 board examination as the it is one of the most important eligibility criteria for the students who are applying for the NEET 2021. If the NEET score will be decided on the basis of class 12 marks, it would surely be unfair for the candidates.
It is the advised for the candidates to remain updated on the current pandemic situation and on the official website of the NTA NEET 2021. All the necessary instructions will be shared through the website.
As number of COVID are emerging from rural areas, transportation will become a major issue as students have to go to their examination centers. They must arrive in the city of examination a day before the exam increasing their probability of getting infected. Candidates living in containment zones will be affected worst as they would in most hardships in giving exam. There are lots of chances that they would miss their examination.
On the other side, many students are in favor of conducting the exams as their carrier depends on this. Their preparation of the whole year will go in vain if the exams will be cancelled. Also, some of them had been to coaching institutes for just the preparation of the examination giving lots of money to the coaching institutes. The government must have on mind this situation also before announcing its decision.
There are fewer chances for the cancellation of the examination and more for postponing the examination as a cancellation will ruin the preparation of the great number of students. Candidates are also requested not to believe any rumor and just follow the guidelines published by NTA on its official website regarding the conduction of examination.
