PSSSB Forest Guard Eligibility Criteria
As mentioned earlier, the applications are scrutinized on the basis of the eligibility criteria set by the authority. You must read the following points to ensure whether you can apply for the job profile or not.
Essential Qualification
Forest Guard
- The candidate must have completed the senior secondary part two examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Should be fluent in Punjabi language and must have studied the Punjabi language as a subject till 10th standard and passed the same in the final examination.
- The candidates should be physically fit as they have to appear in the walk test of 8 km for females and 13 km for males.
- The board will give preference to the Home Guards and Defence Personnel.
Deputy Ranger
- Possession of a degree in Bachelor in Science or Bachelor in Engineering.
- Physically fit for a walk test of 25 km for males and 14 km for females.
Forester
- Completion of senior secondary part two examination in science stream.
- Should be fit for a walk test of 13 km for males and 8 km for females
