Universal Travel Pass Registration Online
As stated these universal passes will be an important method to filter out the travelers with fake tickets. These Universal passes will be embedded with a QR code to avoid any form of discrepancies. To make these passes the Maharasthra Government is working along with the Indian Railways.
The state government is issuing these passes to a specific working group of the population only. It includes three categories of workers/ establishments that are:
- Medical Department- Laboratory workers, Pharmaceutical department, Laboratories, hospital staff, etc.
- Education Department- Passes will be provided to all teachers.
- Other Utilities Department- It will inlcude department of Gas supply, telecom, electricity, etc.
Both these departments will work in collaboration to create a five-tier strategy and QR-embedded travel cards. These QR Based travel cards will be used by the travelers using Mumbai metro, monorail, and Mumbai local trains. Citizens will first need to register in order to use this pass.

Universal Travel Pass Online Registration Process
To secure a travel pass citizens cannot directly register and get their pass. Currently, only establishments can register for such universal passes only. So, if you have an establishment you can register your employees for the Universal traveller pass. Follow these steps to register your establishment.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Disaster Management and Relief Fund Rehabilitation department. A link to the official website is present in this post.
Step 2: On the home page of the official website, citizens will click on the option of Universal Travel Pass available on the page. Clicking on the option you will be directed to a new page.
Step 3: On the open page, click on the button to Register your establishment present on the page. Clicking on the button an Establishment Registration Form will open up.
Step 4: Landing on this Establishment Registration Form page, applicants will have to enter all their Establishment and Coordinator details. The details of the applicant will include some basic details like contact no., registration no., establishment no., photo, etc.
Step 5: After inserting all the details tick check the terms and condition box on I Agree. After that, click on the Register button available on the page.
Universal Travel Pass Download
Upon registration, the application registered will be reviewed manually by the responsible authorities. Approval will be provided to the application of the coordinator.
- The coordinator will login to the website with the provided credentials.
- After loghing in, he/ she will enter the details of the staff needing the pass.
- Basic information of the staff including their name, contact no. ID, gender, designation age will be inserted on the profile.
- As soon as the information is validated the members will get an SMS on their registered mobile no.
- So, the staff members can now login with their registred mobile no.
- Upload your photograph for the travel pass and finally download your travel pass by clicking on the print button available on the page.
