The students who appeared for their Undergraduate (UG) program exams or those who appeared for their Post Graduate (PG) exams can easily check their results online as soon as the Universities declare the result. The anxious freshers and scholars want to know their University results. The University answer sheets take approximately one month to be checked thoroughly. It is, then, followed by the proper analysis of the results and then the preparation of the merit list for the semester is made.
The semester exams are held twice a year. One is called the odd semester and the other one is called the even semester. The odd semester exams are usually held at the end of the year before the winter break in the month of November or December. The results for which are, then, published in January or February after winter break is over. The odd semesters are called so because it is conducted for semester 1, semester 3 and semester 5, and for the four-year program semester, 7 is also counted.
The even semester as the name defines itself is held for semester 2, semester 4 and semester 6. Semester 8 is also counted for four-year UG programs like B.Tech or B.E etc. The even semesters are conducted in the month of April and May. It takes them one month to publish the results after the summer break, ie; July or August.
