WB Police Constable Recruitment Notification 2022
The authority has announced more than sixteen thousand Constable vacancies in Kolkata Police. In order to apply for the recruitment, you have to complete the application process. You can fill the application form online only, submission from any other mode will lead to rejection of candidature. You can submit the WB Police Constable application form on or before 27th June 2022. Plenty of time has been provided to all the interested candidates to complete the application process.

WB Police Constable/ Lady Constable Eligibility Criteria
It is necessary for all the candidates to satisfy all the required demands of the authority. These criteria are prepared by keeping in mind all the job roles and responsibilities. Furthermore, the applications are scrutinized on the basis of these eligibility criteria. You are considered eligible for the recruitment if you fulfil all the below-mentioned conditions on or before the date of advertisement:
Educational qualification
- The candidate must have completed the Madhyamik Examination, meaning completion of the 10th standard examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other recognized board.
- Fluency in the Bengali language is required, one should be able to read, speak and, write.
- The above-mentioned condition is not applicable to the candidates belonging to the hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
Other Criteria
- The candidate must have citizenship in India
- The age of the candidate should be above 18 years and must not be above 27 years. However, the reserved categories like Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, will get the upper age relaxation as per the rules of the government. In addition, the Home Guard personnel are also eligible for relaxation.

Pre-requisites For Online Application Form
