What is Yuva Sangam Portal?
Yuva Sangam Portal is an initiative of the government of India toward the cultural exchange and communion of the North-Eastern Region to the rest of India. Yuva means youth, and Sangam means to unite, so the outlet will provide a platform for the 20,000 delegates to travel across eight NE and a few other states. Out of 1000 students in the Samagam, 300 will be the northeastern youths.
Yuva Sangam is a multidimensional disclosure tour of the North Eastern states through sightseeing, learning and interaction. The host Higher Educational Institutions will exchange their students to accomplish the aim of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

Applicants can check if they are eligible and then apply for this incredible opportunity of cultural interaction through the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Applicants will have to register themselves on the official website for participation. They will fill out the form according to their respective Qualification levels. Once the registration process begins, applicants from the paired institutions can fill out the registration form for selection. The selection process and eligibility are provided below in the following sections of this article.
Eligibility for the Yuva Sangam Portal?
Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Off Campus Youths can apply for the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat spirited campaign. Ensure the eligibility criteria before filling out the registration form. Here is a list of conditions to satisfy before applying.
- Prospects with Indian Citizenship within the age group of 18-30 years can apply.
- Applicants should be students, NSS or NYKS volunteers, employed or self-employed.
- Students belonging to the residential state of the higher Educational Institute.
- Applicants should be medically fit for travel.
- The selection will be done by the Nodal Higher Educational Institutions.

Points to Note during the tour
The Nodal Officers of the respective Higher Institutions will inform the short-listed candidates. The selection will be done considering the parity of gender, background, and rural/urban areas, and including and representing all the sections of society. The selected representatives will have to maintain the decorum of the drive and follow the given parameters strictly.
- Delegates will behave sincerely and decently at all times.
- Covid norms should be followed appropriately during the journey.
- During the group tours, applicants should follow the guidelines as directed by the coordinator.
- Participants are expected to respect the ethnicity and customs of the hosts.
