CDAC C-CAT Ranking

The authorities prepared the C-CAT results based on their performance in Section A, Section A+B & Sections A+B+C. Applicants who appeared in multiple sections and qualifies them then they’ll be allotted multiple ranks. Candidates with less than 10% in any of the sections of the paper ( A, B or C) of C-CAT will not be qualified for ranking in that particular section and its higher sections. Qualified candidates will be awarded Category I rank based on their performance in Section A. Qualified candidates who opted for Category II in the application form will be ranked Category I & II based on their performance in Section A & Section A +B.

CDAC C-CAT Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more two candidates score the same marks in Section A, B or A+B+C then to solve the problem, the following methods are used by the authorities:

• Candidates who scored higher marks in Section A will be given preference.
• The candidate having a higher value in the ratio of ‘the number of correct answers/number of attempted questions’ in the specific section will be given the higher rank.

CDAC C-CAT Counselling & Seat Allotment

Candidates who qualified the test and are also listed in the rank will be called for admission by the officials. For admission into CDAC PG Diploma courses, candidates have to attend the counselling sessions which will commence from 09th Feb 2023-15th Feb 2023 at various centres. The officials will conduct two sessions of counselling and three rounds of the seat allotment process. In the counselling round, the candidates will be given the choice to select the courses as per their personal preferences.
